Organization
The Lonesome Pine School &
Heritage Center is located in the Jerome Street Historic
District and operates as a unit of Lonesome Pine Arts &
Crafts Inc., a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization since
1963.
Funding for the center is
provided by private donations. We are grateful for
the support we receive from all of the volunteers and
the Town of Big Stone Gap. The operation is
overseen by a committee with officers elected every
other year with terms beginning in March.
